Oh so glamorous...
Let's recap this week.
So the whole I/O program had an amazing time at my party! So much that nessie ness and I are probably going to have another one in a month. Glad that the mission was accomplished.
So I've been going on cute "day trips" every week, and I decided to go to Greenwich, CT last Friday. Greenwich is so pretty, and it reminds me of Georgetown, only Georgetown has more shops. I can appreciate the Sephora there, thankfully. And the Baccarat, but that's another story, hehe. But it seriously brings to light the diversity issues in this tundra called CT, and just makes me realize that I am definitely going to be an asset to organizations when I finally retire from my job as a professional student.
Saturday was pretty boring though. I can't wait til Vanessa's birthday this week, so I can finally live it up again! Bottega anyone?
On Sunday I was quite excited about going to membership classes at church. But then, I saw a certain car, and I was sorta upset. I mean friends don't just show up without telling you. Whatever. I can get my fix by going to see that movie The New World... or by looking in the mirror, lol! But anyways, church was hot, and I was prophesized to, which was a good experience.
Anyways, today something happened to my baby:( Some evil person put a huge scratch on the hood of my car and I was so ticked off. I was looking for a ho to slap (just anyone, I'm not picky, lol). For some reason, that sexy Jetta seems to attract unwanted scratches and loiterers. I was like throwing a BF all day long.
Speaking of Native Americans, I always used to to joke when i was little about how I fully intended to handpick my husband from the reservation. So bad, I know. Ooh, and I miss seeing Night Wind at WM, and sighing with pleasure in his presence. LOL, I would *almost* switch religions just to have a reason to justify the usage of peyote on a regular basis. Darn it, my prof is rubbing off on me, I HAVE to stop talking about drugs, especially since I'm not a user. But I'm still all about the peyote, hehe.
In other news, apparently I'm one of those racially ambiguous people. UNH happens to have a um, large Indian population, and they all think I'm Indian. Can we say high school all over again? I suppose they think that I'm going to make the perfect indian bride, how wonderful. And the girls are all friendly too. That's hot. A person who shall not be named (because he's so scary right now) was like, "where are you from?" and I was like, "Maryland". Then he was like "no, where are you really from" and I was like "um, i'm black".
Grad school is so boring right now, sigh. I'll have to go stir things up at 7-11 or something (that is definitely the hotspot, but I saw it first, bitches!).
