It's been a long time...

Wow, I didn't realize how long it had been since I posted. Things have been rather busy lately with school and work, but I will give a short synopsis of the weekend.


First off, I went to the New Haven Chapter's meeting for my sorority. I'm in love, for real. Everyone's so sweet and amazing, young and old. It really made my day to see these busy working women take time out of their Saturday for my sorority. So there's a bunch of events soon, and I intend to attend a bunch of them.

To tell you the truth, I'm kind of over school right now. I'm so glad to be leaving for home on Thursday. I really need a change from my boring daily routine of work, school, hw, and bed.

So on Saturday night, Zeus and I spoke on the phone for an hour. Actually, when I returned his call, he picked up, pretending as if it was a take out pizza place. I was quite amused. I think that the weirdest thing about us is that despite the fact that we're supposed to be friends, he wants to meet my parents.

Zeus invited me over to his place to make chili on Saturday. And oddly enough, I had a lot of fun. We watched an online sermon for half an hour too, which was kinda bizarre. And then, he decided to join me and my friends for a night of debauchery at a bar, lol. Supposedly I have a signature drink, but i don't know if i've sampled enough alcohol for that to be true, hehe. But Zeus just watched us in awe, taking in the booze and bosoms (girls were showing cleavage). He sent me an email the next day, which ended in "please let me know if you have any prayer requests". LOL, if I'm a bad ass heathen, then everyone else in the world is going to hell 10 times over. So that was definitely pretty weird.

I must start packing for the train ride, lol. It always seems to take me awhile to figure out what to take home.
