Hello Hello

Well, I've been reallly busy with things, so I haven't posted much.

My post below was about my um, "issues". But it's OK, because as I tell you more, you'll see that those "issues" are OVER!

So a lot has happened. My birthday was on Oct. 7th, and the weekend was a whole lot of fun! After work that Friday, I celebrated the day before my bday in style, in NYC! Met up with Andrew, Jamie, and Patrick, and we went to a cutesy French restuarant! Oui Oui, magnifique! LOL. Then, we went to my love, Magnolia Bakery. I bought 4 cupcakes! We ate the goodies at the park beside the bakery, and my friends started singing to me there. Next thing I knew, a bum started singing along, and a couple stopped making out to sing to me! Aww, I felt loved! I almost didn't want to leave the park cuz I wanted to play a rousing game of cards with my new bum chum.
We also went to a sophisticated bar, I had a cosmo. Jamie and I had to leave by 11 or so though, so we wouldn't turn into pumpkins.

The next day, my real birthday!, I first got a hot stone massage. It's better than what I imagine sex will be, hahhaa.Then, I opened up my presents, which finally were delivered to my door by a frazzled doorman. The treat was that Kim came to see me! We went to the New Haven restaurant, Kudeta. It's an Asian fusian place, very nice ambiance. Present at the gala were my fellow grad students, etc! It was fun, I had 2 mango martinis. Afterwards, Gaird, Kim and I stopped by my apt so I could have a little more libations (think, canned wine), and proceeded to go to Alchemy! Alchemy is pretty hot. We had shots and I had a sex on the beach. I was drunk. So drunk that when the club closed, I told Kim that we should walk around New Haven. So we walked around at 2:30 AM in one of the roughest cities in the US (perhaps).

Sunday, we dragged ourselves to church. But they gave us communion and I felt awfully guilty and hungover tummyache. So I kept running to the bathroom, but just sitting in the stall for 5 minutes. My body wanted to reject the blood of Jesus. Kim also got to meet Imran, yay!

Raj finally got to New Haven (san Navin), and we went to Pepe's Pizza again, but there were no white clams. Raj was pissed, but we ate our pizza and continued to walk around. So it was a great birthday weekend!

Last week at work, I found out that my supervisor was quitting to go to another investment banking firm. He gave like no warning. It's good though, because now I have tons of work. So much that I feel the need to work 9-10 hour days. I'm really happy that we're dividing up his job though.

I've been trying to get my act together for London. I've already chosen my hotels, and bought a travel book! Now I'm just working on my itinerary. I also need to do a practice pack, etc to make sure that everything fits in my 22 inch suitcase. I am also getting little 3 ounce or less bottles of toiletries so that I can carry on my bag! I refuse to pack a lot this time! I always pack too much, but I will be good in London, especially since I will want to bring lots back!

Oh, and I got lost in White Plains yesterday. Thank goodnes for Baby G, aka, my Garmin GPS system! Cuz I would NOT have gone back in to work.
