Sunday Night Posting

Wow, so here I am posting on my blog again, despite the fact that I have to study. But Saturday was probably one of my best days in New Haven, and I just had to share:) Why, you ask? Well I'll have to tell you all at a later date. Perhaps before Homecoming! I think that I have song lyrics that would describe how I'm feeling:

"Knowing you're down for me is reassuring/ it's the reason why I'm always smiling"

And I've felt so giddy with happiness that I'm almost scared of coming down from this high. But in the midst of all this, I still have a dilemma!

So here's my dilemma- DA or the highway???? I've been thinking about this for the past week or so, and I have no idea what to do. Everyone needs to live in the past at some point in their lives, even if it's for just a little while. But I don't want to feel guilty. Hopefully it will be like one of those things that's too good to apologize for. Let's hope.

So Nessie ness and I have become Yale med school library addicts. It's like, I went to William and Mary, so I need to study at another ivy league, lol. And come rain or shine, I'm there. At least I attempt to get some studying done here.

And then, I was thinking about it today, and I've come to the conclusion that having a job is kind of like prostituting yourself. Call your company your pimp, cuz they are definately prostituting you. I mean, you're getting paid to offer up your talents to people, I would definitely call that a form of prostitution. Maybe not your body, but your talents. Sigh, I'm thinking about this prostitution thing cuz I'm reading Memoirs of a Geisha, even though geisha are NOT prostitutes. Oh, and speaking of job prostitution, dear sweet Jamie gave me the book Confessions of a Video Vixen. I can't wait to read about the life of a video ho, you know that's my back up career! Joking, but I am excited about reading the book.

Sigh, back to studying :(
