Well, I'm writing a quick entry before I go out tonight!

This week went by quite quickly. Class was interesting in the sense that I got all of my exam grades back. That was a feeling of accomplishment, lol. Work kind of sucked because my boss actually made me do work. I couldn't just read Confessions of a Video Vixen.

I'm currently having another crisis in my life, lol. Over the summer, I experienced the kiss of life. What is the kiss of life, you ask? The kiss of life is the kiss that actually causes you to feel something, the kiss that makes you realize you've been missing out. In my opinion, the kiss can also be heightened when it is a little sinful. So basically, the ramifications of the kiss of life are exaggerated feelings of carnal lust, which can be confused with passionate love. And this is what I felt for the kiss of life person up until last month. But kiss of life person is back in my life again (Vanessa calls him Satan), and all hell is breaking loose. I don't want to stay away, but I know that it would be best to. So I'm like, Hey Zeus or Satan, Hey Zeus or Satan??? How about both, lol.

So, I just finished reading the wonderful novel that Jamie got me, Confessions of a Video Vixen!! It was sooo good. The video ho, Yizette, got with Ja Rule. my baby DMX, Jay-Z, Bobby Brown, nessie ness' Vin Diesel, Ice T,Ray-J, Usher and many other hip hop artists. My conclusion is that if I have to do all that, then I don't wanna be a video ho. I will give up the dream if it comes to that. But I'm sure that I can still be a classy video ho, and just go out to dinner with the hiphop artists, hehehe.

Yizette got with married hip hop artists too, which brings me to the question of what really constitutes infidelity in this day and age. Apparently, it's alright as long as you didn't actually love the mistress. At least that's what these rappers are telling the world. Other people too. Young men are basically saying that as long as it's not emotional cheating, then it's not that bad. I think that they must believe that infidelity is like a little white lie- as long as it's not a huge indiscretion, it's quite permissible. If you ask me, these people are smoking ganja. But then again, even my hottie Common says in Faithful,

And to justify it, he says,

So even to Common, one of the sexiest rappers alive and a follower of Christianity, Islam, and Buddhism, it's alright to cheat as long as you don't get it on or have an emotional attachment. And the girl should just forget about that stuff because it was all in the past. Men are bastards.
